Declaration of Independence
Was signed here and kicked off a big war with the British, in which we all know America won. We snuck into a tour of this building, where my dad kept saying very loudy "of course they were all British" "they shouldn't have rebelled" and "you wouldn't have won if it weren't for the French!"
So anyway this is Philadelphia, well worth a visit, especially for the hot dogs on the street (sorry Tom!)

okay anna..here's where i get really honest (with the risk of a lot of people becoming angry at my ignorance)....thanks to your blog i (only) now know that independance day celebrates america's independance from the british empire...totally didn't realise that before...so y'know, even your blog is educational!
